The hotel is near the private part of the beach and not near to the center of Lido. However the city is very small and you can walk or take a bus. Breakfast is good (not very good but ok) and you take it in a very beautiful garden. Staff are mixed some of them are very friendly some not.... More

This hotel is very disappointing, and a shame for Best Western chain. Its an old villa looking nice outside but management has no soul inside. I came to Venice happy and left with a frown...from this soul-less place. Why? I hurt my leg while in this hotel, and had to be sent to emergency hospital in the night. I returned... More

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I was travelling in Italy alone and spent 5 nights here. Please note that it is not on the main island of Venice but very easily accessible, I took a pass for the vaparetto/water bus which was very regular and allowed me to easily travel throughout all the islands. The reception at the... More

I We stayed at this hotel while on a tour wth Trafalgar. Our room was alright but either the air conditioning didn't work or wasn't turned on. When I complained someone came to the room, fidddled with the thermostat's knobs, said the AC is now working and left. It was no different to before his visit. I understand some hotels... More

My daughter and I have just stayed for three nights. We had a spacious twin room at the back of the hotel. It was very clean, quiet and the beds comfortable. The reception staff were helpful; particularly the manager. There could have been more choice for breakfast. The location was ideal for us being a ten minute walk from the ferry.... More

My 4 sisters & I joined a 7-country tour of Europe in May 2010. This was the hotel chosen by Insight Vacations for our 2-night stay in Venice. It is a boat ride away from Venice itself where all the action is. The boat stopped directly across the hotel. The hotel looks like a residence from the outside. Beautiful blue... More

This hotel is not near any of the typical sites in Venice people go to see and is almost 100 euros to get to by water taxi. However, the area around the hotel is beautiful and unlike other areas of Venice. There's a great beach a short ten minute walk away, and some excellent little restaurants (English speaking employees are... More

The first impression of the hotel was really nice, until you went inside. The hotel had the look of something from the early 40's. The apprearance of the lobby was old and the rooms were all very small. We were in the main building and it seems that some of the other buildings were a little better. There was barely... More

We booked this hotel and made the mistake of not double cheking its location, the hotel is in venice but not on the main Island, it is in Lido wich is kind of the back island. Venice has like a water metro and transport is easy but the station is a 10 minutes walk. The hotel is an old big... More

This hotel was a lovely surprise for us with a huge room and views over the lagoon to the centre of Venice. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and the breakfast was first class. This hotel is on the island of Lido which is out of the centre of Venice and away from the crowds. You can... More
