This hotel is out of the tourist area and the vaporetti are not as frequent as on the Grand Canal or St Marks, but almost all the famous sights are within easy walking distance. The hotel has beautiful grounds and the rooms were large. The location is a reasonable distance from San Marco however they provide a private boat to the square and back many times during the day which helps. We got a very cheap deal which made it good value but not sure if it would be at full price. more

We have just spent five nights in Venice and stayed at this hotel. We didn't arrive til late evening but it made no difference - the guy on reception was very helpful and made us feel welcome.
