We found our room to be spacious by European standards.A birds eye view of a canal adjoinuing the Grand Canal made you feel a part of Venice. The Roma vaperetto stop is just out the door making the whole city accessable AND being near the bus terminis made getting to and from the airport a cinch for only 5 euros... more

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel could not be better located for cruisers. The shuttle bus from the port dropped us and our bags literally at the hotel door.Amazing view right down the Grand Canal from our window. The hotel needs screens on the windows. There must be a terrible mosquito problem in the summer. We were there the first... more

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately it's not possible to put any screen on the windows, everything is under "Belle Arti" here in Venice! But we have spray and the machine that you attached at the walls if needed! Anyway Venice doesn't have any terrible mosquito problem. The words "terrible mosquito problem" sound like a disaster!!! There as many mosquitoes...

Without a doubt the attic room is the best hotel room available in all of Venice. I searched for several months to find a room like this. I can't speak for any of the other rooms though. The attic room is very plush on a floor all by itself with a huge private terrace overlooking the Grand Canal, the Garden... more

Dear Friend, Thanks a lot for your kind review. I'm very happy to know that you enjoyed our property so much: the room, the staff, the breakfast, the location. Thank you also for posting those nice pictures! I hope to have you here soon again, warmest regards, Roberto

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the cruise terminal and the public transportation. It could not have been a better location for that. Service was generally good, Vincento was a sweet heart and the young men that served our continental breakfast and moved our ample luggage (traveling with friends) were super. The room we had was very... more

Dear Friend, thank you for your kind feedback. As you said, our location is unbeatable: facing the Grand Canal , without any other building close to the hotel, few steps from any way of transportation and close to the cruise dock. Thank you also for your kind words about Vincenzo and the service at the breakfast (which is worth 30...

During our two week stay in Italy, this was a great way to end our stay. We began in Rome and enjoyed the stay but it was very busy and congested. In Florence we experienced the worst attitudes and service we have ever seen ( my wife is a former Four Seasons Maui employee and the Malaspina hotel Florence, staff... more

Dear Friend, Thank a lot for your kind feedback! And the fact that your wife is in the same business makes me even more happy about it, we passed the exam! :o) I hope to see you soon again here in Venice, warmest regards. Roberto

Don’t accept a room on the 4th floor. The hotel itself if lovely. The lobby and dinning areas are nice. It’s a good location near the train station and maybe a little too close to the bus station. The 4th floor is the attic of the building. Imagine sleeping in your attic in the summertime. As big and cute as... more

Dear Sir, We all remember you very well here! We recognised you not only from the picture but also for the tone of your feedback, quite “spicy”!!! I will not tell you that I’m sorry, because there isn’t a true word in your message (except the fact that your room was at the 4th floor). The air conditioning is working...

I have been traveling through the EU for the past 4 weeks for work and decided to take an overnight excursion to Venice. My husband traveled with me and we were a bit confused by the setup of Venice when we arrived. There is no access by car anywhere on the island after you cross the bridge except for where... more

Dear Friend, I’m sorry that you didn’t feel comfortable in our hotel, but there are some remarks to your considerations. First of all you walked in the hotel without any reservation. Before renting the room you have seen it, you have seen the annex and then you decided that the room was fine. We always show the rooms before renting...

We stayed in this hotel as due to circumstances we needed parking in Venice. From the word go, the staff were unhelpful, in particular the main reception clerk who was supercilious and condescending. At over 200 euros per night for a dismal double room this was over-charging at its best! When waiting for our friends, we tried to get a... more

Dear Friend, I'm sorry that we didn't reach your expectations. Please accept my apologise if you found that the staff were unhelpfull. It's very strange because we spent the most of our time trying to help our guest and to accomplish thier requests. That's why we have a lot person that leaves us good feedback. Concerning our rates I confirm...

My sister and I were more than satisfied with our stay here. The hotel staff were helpful and polite and spoke English very well. We stayed in the "Residence Parisi" which was actually quite nice, despite my misgivings after reading reviews on tripadvisor. The rooms and bathrooms are huge! Yes, they are a little bit dark and there is no... more

Dear Tess, thank you for your kind feedback! I'm happy that you enjoyed your stay at Residenza Parisi, our annex. I think that you described it very well, pointing the plus and the minus of the location. I have just a consideration regarding the view, that (I hope!) will be usefull for everybody who come to Venice for the first...

I stayed at this hotel before embarking on a Transatlantic cruise to Rio. I choose the hotel as it was near the bus station and at the end of the Grand Canal so I would be able to see some of Venice in a short time. However my experience at the hotel was so horrible I feel compelled to warn... more

I'm sorry for the trouble you experienced during your stay with us. All our rooms are no-smoking, the whole hotel is no smoking. When we find a room in very bad conditions we keep it close for a couple of days until the smell goes away. Unfortunately you are asthmatic (as me!!!) and you are a bit more sensible than...
