The ground level suite with its two extra beds was ideal for the party and the children (and we) enjoyed their freedom to play in the rear garden outside our door. We really enjoyed our stay and the Pensione Accademia. Our room was No 43 which was on the first floor overlooking the 'Rio Di San Trovaso, if you are a light sleeper then this is probably not the room for you as the boat traffic can be noisy early in the morning. We loved this hotel as much for the accomodation as for its superb location. While the rooms were small, they were bright, extremely clean and comfortable. We slept like babes with our open window. The breakfast was first rate and we very much enjoyed eating on the patio. Hotel staff were competent and helpful. We would definitely come back. more
