we stayed here a couple of years ago on recommendation from a friend. i recall it being a lot better value than most of the other places on the grand canal, and i'd definately recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet hotel with a good location. inside i'd describe it as a little rustic, which was fine by us.... more

Each morning and evening we were able to see life unfold on the canal from our hotel window. We stayed in both room 10 and 8. Many of our best photos were taken from the room. Stayed in room 10. Very roomy, nice view of the canal and very convenient to the water taxi or walking to most of the attractions. I enjoyed breakfast in the room and they delivered right at your requested time. The front desk was very helpful with any questions we had. more
