If you only have a short stay in Venice this hotel is a good 3 star choice. Located just a short walk either way to Rialto or San Marco, the fact that it’s a little hard to find the first time means it’s off the well worn tourist path. Hotel Canaletto is in a brilliant position, just a few minutes from St Mark's Square and the Rialto bridge. The hotel was a bit hard to find when we got off at the Rialto station - and walking through the 'streets' of Venice with all your luggage searching for the hotel can be no fun - but after finding it, we were pleased.
