Hotel Cristallo is a great place to stay on Lido. We were there Oct 9-12 We had a corner room (#22) with a Bathtub/Shower combo - a real treat for me. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cristallo. Yes, it's not in the heart of Venice but you just jump on the vaporetto and in 10 minutes you're wherever you want to be. We did not find the street noise to be excessive and were very comfortable there. Andreas, the manager, was extremely helpful and nice. more

Fabulous location if you are happy to stay in the middle of the busiest street in Lido. It was 38 degrees, air con was at first not working, then fixed (very helpful staff), but still noisey. We have just returned from a great trip in Venice and to be honest we were a bit disappointed with the Hotel Cristallo. The room was very basic and the furniture dating from the 70's.
