We spent 3 nights in room 30 which we requested after reading a previous review. We really felt and heard the real Venice. The staff were very friendly. The room was basic but very clean. We found it central to all we had to see in Venice. Would recommend the hotel for travellers on a budget. (Australian) more

Hotel Caneva was what I expected. Venice is an expensive city, so finding something affordable is tricky. I liked the location of this hotel a lot. This is a great hotel for the budget traveller. The staff were good. The hotel was spotless. And the location is handy. However, guests arriving in late at night should note that the walls are thin so be considerate and keep the noise down. more

we stayed at this hotel and I assure you it´s great...It has a good location, close to san Marco and to Rialto...A bit far from the rail station but nothing that a vaporetto(boats used in Venice) won´t solve...The staff is great too... more

This hotel is situateed 3 min walk from st marks square...the hotel is old and staff not the best but for a budget traveller it is perfect! Breakfast is free and good, the hotel is very clean. It's a little difficult to find but where isnt in Venice!! I would only recomend this hotel to young couples or budget travellers... more
