Location was great. Straight off the water taxi was easy to find. San Marco square is literally on your door step. The ladies in reception were great, they helped us with all our questions (example: getting an Italian sim and where). Yes the rooms are small (the one we had was) but its hard to imagine a 5 star luxury... More

We found the Hotel great but for the very steep narrow staircase that we were not made aware of beforehand, very difficult with luggage. We were on the 4 th floor Rooftop terrace? Really? Where? Swimming pool? Where?

Although this hotel was in an excellent location (right by S. Marco), the facilities were very run down and furniture was very old. you also need to climb multiple flights of stairs as there is no lift so ensure you are well, fit & able to do this with heavy luggage. Avoid staying at this Hotel. Even to get to the reception you need to climb a flight of stairs. We were given a room not in the main building, but across the street. The room looked old & badly maintained. The phone in the room was not working. The only saving grace was the courtesy of staff.
