Just come back from 4 nights at this hotel, and was very impressed with what they are able to offer for the price. Booked through venere.com, who seem to have good prices. The hotel was spotlessly clean, my room was comfortable and a decent, and service was friendly (although nobody there after midday, maybe that's because of the season, although... More

We recently stayed at the Locanda Herion before a cruise from Venice. We have stayed there twice before. It is great for combining convenience and price. The rooms have always been very clean. It isn't fancy, but entirely adequate in this high priced city. By taking the vaporetto when we arrived to the Marcouli stop, we reached the hotel in... More

If you are expecting a proper hotel with a big entrance hall and a bell boy then this isn't for you. If you are looking for a small B&B style hotel that is in a great location, with friendly staff at a good price then read on... If you are like me then you'd be planning on using your time... More

A bit difficult to find this is a nice, small hotel not far from the railway station. Rooms are clean and pleasant. Breakfast (the bread) is terrible. More

This hotel is too expensive for what it offers. The rooms and bathroom were not very clean. We had ants in our room and they got into our suitcases. The air conditioning did not work properly so we had some very hot August nights. The window in the bathroom was broken and could not be opened. We asked the front... More

We had no idea the film festival was in town when we visited, so we had a hard time to find a hotel. We had to settle with this one, very overpriced and tired little hotel. I read reviews about being hard to find and took directions and maps and even we had a hard time. And the problem is... More

The staff was good and helpful with requests. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and about a three minute walk to a water bus pick-up and drop off location. Also very close to a main street with shopping, restaurants, and a grocery store. The hotel is, however, located far away from the main locations. Good... More

Only a few minutes from train station. Wifi available in reception area. Kind of pricey for the value but I'm not sure it that's because it was on the island. More

Close to the train station (5-10) minute walk, hard to find, but well worth it. Anna and her brother have done a remarkable job in this 17 room bed and breakfast. It is literally about a block or so to the Grand canal and to the vaporetto stop off the main drag in the Cannareggio. Our room was large and... More

Reception was helpful and courteous. Breakfast is simple but ggood. We got an acceptable room if you do not look at the detail, and the other room with mosquito corspes on the wall, ceiling, bathroom with mold, mildews, dark and dirty. Room is roomy, not small though. This is the 2nd time we went to Venice, and next time will... More
