At the very last minute I found a good deal at Ca' San Polo during the carnival so booked for 2 nights. The room and the bathroom are ok: clean, but on the smallish side as is quite common in Venice. Wonderful little gem of a hotel for the discerning visitor ,great staff,really cosy but not near the horror triangle of San marco. Good location lovely people but enough of a hideaway to be quiet at night. Good breakfast and small terrace
