We just returned from a 3 day stay in Venice. We were lucky with the weather, no crowds and the perfect hotel. The Palace Bonvecchiatti is easy to locate about a 100m from the "Rialto" vaperetto stop (Do not get off at the Rialto mercato). The location can't be beat. We were traveling with our two daughters so got connecting rooms (double deluxe, one with large beds, one with twin). Stayed at the hotel for our 35th Anniversary, had a great time. The hotel is an oasis of calm in a very busy and expensive city. We had a canal side room which was large and very well equipped. Very clean and modern and comfortable. Reception were very good and welcoming. Excellent. more
