We requested a quiet room and got room 20. It was really quiet and a good idea if you are a light sleeper. Other people in the front mentioned that the fruit peddler got a bit loud early in the morning. We really loved staying here. The location could not have been better. We werent expecting this hotel to be great but after spending $200 a night we though it would be decent enough were we could just sleep in and enjoy Venice. Boy were we wrong. If you have never been to Venice you will encounter that everything is hard to get to until you understand how the streets and signs work.... more

Venice is expensive...period. Definitely didn't get the 'hotel for the money' like in all the other European cities we visited, but enjoyed the Scandinavia.
