The only good thing was the owners. The room was in a separate building and we learned about it after we climbed the very steep stairs with our 24kgs luggage. The building had a very dark and humid entrance which had a tricky lock to get in, again another steep long stair and the most disgusting bathrooms. The towels seemed... More

When we stayed there there were a few american exchange students, but it was loads of fun, family run and quirky. Pay for the food and museums in venice, but not too much for your hotel!!!!!! We were out late nearly every night and they are safely locked up so you have tp ring the door, but nothing wrong with... More

Coming from someone who has stayed all over the world, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We stayed in the building next to where you check in and I'm not sure if that one is worse than the main building or what but you have to walk through literally hundreds and hundreds of dead and alive... Well, its venice and everything is pricy. We arrived from Florence around 7 pm and choose this hotel for 2 reasons, price and proximity to santa lucia train station. shared bathroom rooms are adjoining the main hotel building. room is small, basic and there were 2 bathrooms in each floor. we used this place just to sleep. vaporatto's are just... The location is great. It is near: - shops (1 min walk), - restaurants (2 mins walk), - train station (7 min walk) - and water taxis (4 mins). Two of us stayed there one night for 60 euros. We had to walk three flights up, share a bathroom with 3 other rooms. But we had a sink in the... More

This hotel is very close to the main train station in Venice & not too far from the bus station where the Treviso Airport bus will drop you off. This is a benefit because Venice is not the easiest to get around with a heavy case, as I experienced firsthand. The hotel is on a fairly busy street with plenty... More

Please refer to my previous reviews for my experience traveling especially in Europe. I have stayed in Dozens of hotels in Europe, and this was my 3rd trip to Venice. I selected this hotel specifically for its decent price, but more importantly its proximity to the train station that we would be arriving from. Exiting the train station you take... More

We got shock f our lives moment v arrived at this hotel. Booked this hotel thru venere.com but got completely deceived from it. What shown and said on venere was completely different from ground reality. The rooms were terrible, no air conditioning, no fan. Bedding and linens was dirty and filthy. Shared bathrooms with other travellers and bathrooms was to... More

Hotel details:-I had visited Venice along with my wife for 2 nights in mid April 2013.We reached around 9pm in Venice as we had travelled from Pisa. The hotel was very easy to find. It's very close to Santa Lucia station. When you come out of the station just take left and it takes 3 mins to reach hotel. The... More

The room we had was a good size but as it overlooked the main street it was very noisy even with the shutters and curtains closed. The bathroom was a reasonable size. The stairs were quite steep and with cases packed for a six week trip it was an effort to carry them up! The air conditioning worked which had... More
