Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Just far enough from the crowds, but was only a 10-15 minute walk to the thick of things. The room was beautiful and the a/c kept us cool in the Venice heat. Sandro, Walter, and their staff are all very friendly and make this place as warm and inviting as everyone says it is. The... more
We were in the new annex a couple of doors down and it is wonderful. Great restoration job. You feel like you are staying ina house with great room and quality of everything is the best. Not a bad word for it. Easy to get to great location away from the noise but close enough to get to everything. Exquisite... more
All the positive reviews are true - this is an amazing find in a large, expensive city. We as 2 couples stayed in rooms #1 and #4 - I really liked #4. Room #1 had a window on the canal side (it was high and could not see out of it) - but you could smell the canal from the... more
I have visited Venice ten times and mainly stayed in four star hotels and above.Even before the dollar took its precipitous drop,I was curious about this hotel because of its No.1 ranking on tripadvisor and the laudatory remarks made by numerous travel publications. Stayed here for three nights in June 2008, 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the annex rooms, second (third) floor. An absolutely beautiful place, clean and new with real Venetian decor (go to the Ca'Rezzonico museum and see the same style furniture you have in your room!). Breakfast was very good featuring home made apple croissants. I am a super... more
We really enjoyed our stay here. This is an old building that has been completely upgraded with modern decor and fixtures. Close to the vaporatto and restaurants but not a crowded area. Great little breakfast in nice setting. Helpful hosts. We would stay there again! more
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Ponte Mocenigo this week. The location is convenient via vaparetto and walking to/from was really quite easy and enjoyable. It was located in a quite neighborhood, far from the maddening crowd which was perfect for us. We stayed in the small bedroom on the first floor, Room #2. It was... more

Without a doubt, the Hotel al Ponte Mocenigo deserves the high praise it receives here on Trip Advisor. As a solo traveler, I stayed in a generous single room for four nights in early June. The furnishings were elegant, the artwork unique, and the property overall spotless and well-maintained. A hearty continental breakfast (with amazingly good warm croissants) is served... more
