The good: location location location. Close and convenient to express vaparetto stop. No need to haul your luggage on the back streets. Locked gate and locked entry. Very clean. Good sized rooms, high celings. In the suite – the bathroom had modern amenities and a great shower. The host was very nice. The bad – tv in Italian (in the... more

We stayed at the Art Academy for 3 nights from 19 April, our first time in Venice. We enjoyed our stay here - it has a kind of 'old world' feel; not luxurious by any means, but very pleasant, clean, and comfortable. Our bedroom and its en-suite bathroom were both excellent size, and the bedroom had a view of the... more

I spent 6 nights at the B&B Art Academy at the beginning of April. I visit Venice 4 or 5 times a year but usually stay in the Castello sestiere either on the Riva degli Schiavoni close to San Zaccaria or further east in the quieter Giardini/Biennale quayside area. This time I thought I would have a change and stay... more

It was among the best places that I stayed while in Europe. The place itself gives u the period feel, if u are among those that want to have a break from the usual star rated plastic smile experience;-) The location is also very convenient to tourist spots. Not too close nor too far from the eurail station. All the... more

We had a lovely stay in this past week there. The friendly hospitality made up for any of the imperfections of this place. At 115 Euros a night well priced but I wouldn't have wanted to pay more for a shared bath that really needs updating. Clean. Good location. Loads of steps up to the second floor. Breakfast was hot... more

The room was nice, clean and large. The view was fabulous. We did have some confussion finding the B&B and were not able to get in, because there is not a traditional "front desk" and nobody was there. So we were a bit frusterated in the beginning. In the morning however, all was well. The breakfast was lovely and the... more

Barbara was extremely friendly and helpful in terms of assisting us navigate the confusing city of Venice, Italy. Spacious room, plentiful breakfast and amazing location walking distance to all attractions including water taxi stop, art galleries and St. Mark's Square. Would stay again. more

We went and stay in this B&B during August Bank Holiday. The location is superb. Closed to various art galleries and away from San Marco square. This B&B can be reached by 2 stations: Academia or Zatterie. There are plenty of lovely restaurants close this B&B. The pricing is very reasonable. We have opted for for a room with no... more

I stayed at Art Academy B & B in May 2007. What a delightful B & B! The rooms are lovely, decorated with antiques and beautiful linens. and I did not mind the very clean bathroom "down the hall". What a delight to view the canal AND overlook the Accademia while enjoying my latte in the morning !. The staff... more

My husband and I stayed at the Art Academy Bed and Breakfast in Venice for one night. We paid 115 euros in April 2007 for a room without an en suite bathroom. This room was amazing, it was the most luxourious and spacious of all the rooms we stayed in while in Europe. The bed was very comfortable and had... more
