I am not sure how we found this palazzo,called "athomeapalazzo" but it is a gem. We travelled in Italy for ten days, staying in expensive suites every night but our room in this fourteenth century palace, now a private home, was the best accomodation we had at a fraction of the usual
prices we paid. It is beautifuly furnished, well located near a
vaporetto stop, and a welcome change for people who have been staying in hotels.There are only two or three rooms for rent which share a luxurious lobby area of about 1200 square feet where we enjoyed our breakfasts in the sun. The only deficiencies that I need mention are the lack of an
elevator and rather low water pressure in the shower.If you might get tired climbing stairs to the third floor (ceilings are about 16 feet high), think twice about staying here. With so few rooms and moderate rates the only reason you might be able to find a vacancy here is that it seems hard to book a room unless you stumble across...
