As with most things in Venice...Getting there is half the battle. It's a treck from the vaporetto stop in the square to the B&B...and then you've got to get your luggage (and yourself) up 3 flights of stairs. But truly... it's smooth sailing from there. Highly recommended. Very nice, large and clean rooms. Bathroom is also very good, seems to have been recently remodeled. Location is also excellent, very close to Piazza San Marco. You will not find anything at this price range with such quality. more

We just returned from our stay in Venice. We highly recommend the Casa sul Molo. The directions from Bruno were clear. Take the public boat (ALILAGUNA) from the airport. Had no problem with my initial enquiry, with securing the booking, or checking in, although they do ask that you let them know what time you are coming, so there is someone waiting for you (as the reception area is not staffed all the time). The directions given by one review were spot on. So thanks to that reviewer. Follow these directions not the B & Bs. There is, as also stated by the same reviewer, no lift, which could be a problem for the elderly or unfit. We were on the fifth floor so it was quite a hike a few times a day... more
