This is a great little hotel just off the via Gariboldi. Although no views the room we stayed in was well furnished and very clean. There is no lift in this hotel and we were on the top floor 79steps which was a bit daunting. The breakfast is basic but adequate cereals rolls jam juice tea coffee. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.Its about 15min walk to St.Marks square we felt a perfect location. After a busy day it was a quiet retreat we all slept really well.From the airport we got the water bus jto Arsenale walked over 2 bridges left into via garibaldi a short walk and the hotel is just off to the left (well hidden)The water bus fare was12euros a lot cheaper than the water taxis.There is a local resturant on the back street called Al Tosi Grandi the food is excellent and really reasonably priced e.g a very large pizza 4euros.Avoid the first resturant on the left as you turn into via garibaldi its very pricey and the food is terrible the staff were fine until we complained... more
