Was warned about the difficulty of finding the place so looked out a pic of the front to recognise it - no probs. I stayed at the Palazzo Cendon in November 2007 and can't rate the hotel highly enough. It is is a quiet area of Venice on the Canal di Cannaregio and is about ten minutes walk from the central train station. There is a vaporetto stop just down the canal (2 mins walk) and some really good bars and trattoria nearby.... more
