Whilst the rest of my Family were staying in the Excelsior and Des Bains for extortionate monies - we stayed at the Casa Delle Rose. I highly recommend the Casa Bella Rose- a beautiful place to stay in a fabulous location! A short water bus ride away from the main sights of Venice, this is an ideal B&B to stay in. In a quiet street close to the waterfront and the bars and restaurants on Lido, Calle del Rose is comfortable and affordable. Oct. 5/08 My husband and I recently returned form a 16 day vacation to Italy. We spent 3 nights at Casa delle Rose and enjoyed it very much. The room was large and nicely decorated. The owner, Stefano was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. There are 2 shared bathrooms for 4 rooms which was never a problem.... more
