Il Sogno di Giulietta, Relais de Charme located in the heart of historical Verona, is the only accommodation inside Juliet’s Courtyard. An important renovation gave birth to this reality and its rooms that are decorated with antique furniture and adorned with antique rugs, curtains and fine art objects. The rooms are situated on two sides of the house; some have a direct view of Juliet's balcony, the other on Piazza Erbe and the elegant Via Cappello, a pedestrian street in the historical center of Verona. In the evening, the access gate to the Courtyard is closed and the guests can enjoy the incomparable atmosphere of the garden at night attended by Romeo and reach their rooms through a unique path. All rooms are characterized by wood parquet flooring, beamed ceilings , bathrooms with single or double Jacuzzi bath tub and features such as mini-bar, flat screen tv with satellite channels and free wi fi internet. The continental breakfast, which is served exclusively in the privacy of the room, includes a wide choice of local products. Il Sogno di Giulietta, elegant residence in a unique location in the world, offers more than a simple stay in town: it is an experience to live!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Beautiful boutique hotel in old Verona right across from Juliette’s balcony! Fantastic staff, incredibly helpful with any of your needs. Free, fully stocked minibar, very comfortable beds and fully appointed rooms and common area. Highly recommend !

You know when you read about a place and don’t quite believe it can be that good, well this hotel is that good! It is situated in the courtyard of Giuilietta so before and after hours you can have a private look up at that famous balcony and statue without the crowds. Our room, suite 52 was fabulous, everything spotlessly clean, soundproofed, lovely balcony & views along to Piazza del Erbe & terracotta rooftops. Huge bathroom with full size jacuzzi. Breakfast at a nearby restaurant Casa Mazzanti had a great choice & was lovely. Easy walking distance to everything! Francesca looked after us open arrival and was really friendly, informative & helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Relais Balcone de Giulietta. The hotel was comfortable, clean and very convenient for all attractions. We were most surprised that the mini bar was for us to use and it was replenished daily! The balcony was enjoyable to sit and drink prosecco as we watched the multitudes of people below.

This hotel is so special and service is outstanding. I wish I could give it more stars! My children took me on a tour of Italy for my 70th Birthday and this hotel was the absolute highlight out of all the ones we stayed in. It is centrally located with every amenity you could wish for. Our room had a terrace overlooking the street yet was lovely and peaceful . The free mini bar and snacks is a nice touch too. The icing on the cake is the private access to the Courtyard of an evening where we enjoyed the ambiance of the Romeo & Juliet balcony. It did feel like it was our home, albeit for a brief while. All the staff are friendly and helpful, from the start to finish of our stay. Verona itself is lovely, so easy to walk around and enjoy all the City has to offer. There are plenty of good eating spots nearby. We are planning our return ...

Literally couldn’t fault this place, Andrea made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had room No.43 with a roof terrace where we could watch the beautiful sunrise over the rooftops. As others have said having private access to the courtyard after hours is such a treat when the tourists have gone and you feel like royalty when you’re allowed in with your key when others are desperate to get in! We were first into the museum at 9am (buy tickets online) so didn’t have to wait long to get our photo on the balcony. Nowhere far to walk at all. Just perfect! Oh and the free minibar is special!!

We stayed here for a couple of days as part of a trip to celebrate my birthday all arranged by my wife. The location of this property is out of this world. Right in the heart of everything with private access to the “Romeo and Juliet” balcony courtyard after hours. The room itself was lovely, your own balcony with views of the square and a well stocked free mini bar that was replenished each day. As a base to explore you couldn’t ask for anything more.

This was a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, although you do have to fight your way past people queuing to see Juliet's balcony during the day. The gates are closed from 7pm until 9am and then you have the courtyard to yourself and the other guests. Helpful staff very comfortable and a complimentary fully stocked mini bar!

Excellent and beautiful place with helpful staff! The place is very central and easy to get around and located opposite Juliette’s balcony making it feel very romantic ! The room was spacious and contained a well stocked mini bar with snacks and drinks. The staff are excellent and are very helpful particularly Andrea who helped us with a booking issue and gave us tips about the city and the Opera ! I would recommend without hesitation it was a tranquil and historic setting in the middle of the bustling city !

Absolutely excellent stay. Incredible staff. And a very privileged position to be able to have access to the courtyard all to ourselves after 7 pm with complimentary drinks. Rafael and the staff are a true pleasure to be around. Our suite (44) looked directly down on to Juliettes balcony itself and was ample in size. We will definitely return

Would give it 6/5 stars if I could. Hands down my favorite hotel I've stayed in. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night, and loved everything about our stay. The details put into the hotel and the rooms are impeccable, and the service is incredible. Everyone we interacted with from the staff was so warm and welcoming, we felt right at home. The rooms are beautiful, and you can't beat private access to Juliet. When we're back in Verona, this will always be our first choice! Highly, highly, highly recommend!
