Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great hotel! Very clean, close to the train station. My unit had a little kitchen, comfortable bed, and a small twin bed. The breakfast that came with the room was perfect. Only issue was with the shower. It is smaller than a phone booth and the water was cold half way. So if you’re tall it is extremely uncomfortable to take a shower. Otherwise a great stay.

Stayed here for a short break in Verona. The hotel is a 5 minute (nice) walk to the historic centre where most of the restaurants are. Verona is a beautiful place but we could not really fill five days there (2 or 3 days is ample), so we went to Venice for one day and Milan for another, both using the excellent railway system in Italy. The hotel is well placed for the station. The hotel itself was a good choice, nice breakfast and nice rooms, only issue is the beds were not particularly comfortable or big in our rooms. Still a good place to stay though.

Very old looking hotel, presented through misleading photos in internet . Breakfast is bad, with poor food quality and served in a dark , underground room, very messy. Hotel staff is unfriendly ( I made a couple of requests and was ignored )

A good city break HOTEL very clean. Good breakfast. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful The only downside is it is a good 20 minute walk to Verona Centre and situated in a quiet part of town If I were to go back, I think I would stay nearer to the centre.

This hotel was a great place. Plentiful well supplied continental breakfast delicious! Situation great for rail station 10 minutes walk. Heart of the city 15 mins walk. We had a premier room with small balcony, great for people watching. Could not fault the staff.

Having stayed 4 nights at Hotel Firenze, we will return! Great location, within walking distance of the station & Arena. Very clean comfy room on the second floor. Breakfast was included, buffet style, food was tasty & replenished in a timely manner. Great value for money.

good option, spacious room with balcony to inner courtyard. spacious bathroom. bathroom itself, specially the massage shower, feels dated, from late 90s early 2000s. friendly staff in reception breakfast quite decent. elevators decent, not too big so if you have 3-4 people in your group with suitcases, you will need to take a couple of elevators. walking distance, about 7-9 minutes to the arena.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of October. Very convenient location both for its proximity to the station and the center. Reception staff very courteous and helpful. Spacious and clean room and very comfortable bed. Good size bathroom with whirlpool tube the only flaw is the lack of courtesy sets. Where we were disappointed however was the breakfast, it is unacceptable that they run out of plates, cutlery, food and have to wait for a clean and set table.

We stayed here 2 nights as a family of 4 (kids aged 6 and 9). We had an apartment in the building next to the main hotel, which is divided in two by some wardrobes - a ‘master’ bed one side and double sofabed the other side where there is also a small table and kitchenette with cooker and microwave. Bathroom is to a high standard with jacuzzi bath/shower (although this is a bit old and fiddly to work). Nice little balcony to sit out on. Didn’t know this at time of booking, but if you want use of the crockery and cooking utensils you need to pay extra for the cleaning service. Irrespective of this, given we were a family of four it would be useful to have use of more than 2 cups and 2 glasses. Air conditioning worked well. Great location - It’s a short walk from Verona station (manageable with wheeled luggage) and about €30 taxi to the airport. Similarly it’s a short walk to the old town. Breakfast is ok, although the cooked options could be better.
