Easy hotel to find, train from Venice, bus into town, alittle walking, right outside the wall of the old city. This is a business hotel, gave us a very good rate for walk up. Really enjoyed our stay in Verona, and at this hotel. The best breakfast on our 10 day trip in Italy. more

I have stayed at the San Luca numerous times over the years, although as the dollar has weakened it has gotten a bit expensive. But the place has great charm, above all the sense that it is still a family-run place and they appreciate your business. The Wi-Fi can be finicky, depending on what room you have, and some of... more

We stayed at Hotel San Luca for four nights. Location is great- within walking distance of many restaurants and sites. The rooms were very nice. Breakfast was very good- you could order coffee drinks and there was a large selection of breads, cereal, fruits, plus meats and cheese. I had made a mistake in our reservations and we were only... more

stayed here two nights/nice room and bathroom..ac leaked when turned at low temp. The most annoying thing was that both mornings we were asleep and someone (staff) knocked on our door before 8am. I didn't answer the first morning and then it happened again the second morning. The man didn't speak english and didn't seem to care we were asleep.... more

We kind of lowered our expectations for this place based on the reviews we'd read but thought this was an excellent little hotel & perfect for what we needed. The staff were very simple in their approach, no nonsense, no messing about but very professional and friendly. The location is perfect very close to the centre of the old town... more

I stayed here as a member of a group seeing Verona and visiting the opera festival. The staff seemed helpful and friendly. The lounge was elegant and supplied with newspapers and the buffet breakfasts excellent. . My double room (for single occupancy) was perfectly adequate, and very quiet. The bathroom was decent, but getting into the bath/shower in that room... more

I can only imagine that the person who wrote the review about the noise must have had his/her windows open. We have a 2 yr old son and are always conscious of noise, but the San Luca has two sets of windows with roll-down blinds in between, and with all three layers closed, no light or noise enter the room.... more

I was worried about staying in this hotel because of the bad review it recieved and also due to the fact that it was the only hotel in the center of town that still had rooms available during a busy fair week in Verona. I was very pleasantly surprized by the San Luca. The hotel is located right outside the... more

We stayed at the Hotel San Luca in August and were very disappointed. They have noisy neighbours both late at night (there's a Scottish pub on one side and a Euro-techno club on the other that never seems to close) and early in the morning (7am church bell peals that sound as if they originate in the room above). The... more
