This hotel has a wonderful location just around the corner from the Arena. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very good. The room was air-conditioned and with enough room for suitcases, a desk and chair, etc. The shower room was on the small size, but totally adequate. I would certainly return to this hotel. more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights for our honeymoon. The location was fantastic - right next to the main piazza and the ampitheatre. The room and ensuite were clean and a good size for two people. The reception staff spoke good English and were helpful - even providing us with a corkscrew to open our wine! The breakfast... more

My family and I spent 3 nights in this hotel, it is ideally located for all of Veronas attractions but particullarly for the Arena and the great shopping street, Via Mazzini. The hotel is clean with typical city hotel decor. The only critisism is for the breakfast buffet, you might aswell open a bag of sugar and eat that, it... more

We stayed at the hotel Bologna for 3 nights. While the location is unbeatable the rooms are small, charmless and tacky beyond words. Specially for the hefty price tag of 200 Euro a night, it was certainly not value for money. The shower stall was so tiny that you couldn't reach down to scrub your feet!! The beds were uncomfortably... more

Hotel Bologna is so close to the arena, you could practically walk back during intermission to go to the bathroom instead of waiting in line! While the location is fantastic, the reception wasn't particularly friendly, and for what we paid the room was cramped and dark. The breakfast buffet is outstanding though! The dining room is graciously furnished--very old-world in... more

We stayed in the Hotel Bologna for one night on our honeymoon around Italy. We arrived in Verona by car without a hotel booking, and the Bologna was the second one we stopped at that wasn't full. We probably wouldn't have stayed there if we had booked in advance. The hotel is in a very good location in the town... more

This hotel is part of the Best Western chain and is across the street from the Mestre train station. The train trip to Venice takes 10 minutes. We had a room in the newly renovated section and it was very comfortable. It was good size with a large bathroom. We faced the back and there was no street noise at... more

Good hotel in the center of Verona. Very close to the Arena. In the historic district. Follow the signs for the hotel. Rooms a little small, but clean and fresh. Good buffet breakfast. We reserved directly with the hotel after finding that they were offering a last minute deal of 100 Euros on their internet site. Location is the big... more

Very nice location. Room was a bit basic in decor and accomodation but nice and clean. In the morning they turn off the A/C in all the rooms so if your stay is in the summer be sure to request the leave yours on until the time you plan on leaving the room. Little pizzeria next door is really good.... more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. Like other reviewers we found the location was a real selling point. For a 3* hotel however it certainly isn't cheap - approx £120 per night (granted it was in the middle of the summer period). Our room was basically furnished, however it was clean and the bed was... more
