Three of us(older women) stayed at the Hotel La Residenza Verona House and found it to a clean, spacious apartment, very well-run. We had a problem with our toliet upon check-in and were promptly given another room. Everyone was polite and helpful.The only downside is the breakfast, which is a roll and coffee. more

Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a nice homely touch, so it makes a lovely change from commercial chain hotels. We loved this place, the room was spatious, clean and quite. The location is great - it took us 5-10 minutes on foot to reach Arena. Staff was absolutely great, very helpful with bus and train schedules, with advice what to see in Verona and its surroundings... This is our second stay at Verona House. This trip we stayed for 1 week and used it as a base for exploring the region. Our room was comfortable and spacious. If you desire a change of pace in traveling and want to experience a little slice of life Italian style, then La Residenza is the place you should go to. We stayed at the Verona house is June. Good location, close to the centrum. Includes Italian breakfast at two nearby cafes (coffee and a croissant) and parking for a small fee - which is helpful with the lack of street parking.
