I stayed at the Continental as a base to explore Northern Italy. The hotel is located an easy 10 minute walk outside of the beautiful city of Vicenza. About 10 min from the train station, this quiet hotel is located in a residential area with a grocery store near by. Big and secure room with a nice balcony with one of the best continental breakfast in town. Best spot to visit to nice city nearby, Verona and Venezia. A great staff for a great hotel, highly recommend !! more

First, the good points: Continental Hotel in Vicenza is clean, offers guests a cool drink when they arrive, serves a nice breakfast and is about a 10 minute walk from the city center. The rooms are Spartan but clean. Our complaint is that the walls must be paper-thin. The people in the adjoining room had their TV on all night... more

ONLY negative is location, not so close to historical center (which is not such a big deal - the town is not big). Welcome drink, recently restorated simple but functional room. Excellent hotel,spotless throughout. Staff were always helpful and cheerful. Short taxi ride from rail station meant its location was also excellent for trips around the Veneto. Could not fault this hotel in any way,a bargain at the rates offerred. more
