We loved staying on this small, quiet friendly island. Saint Esrasmo is the market garden island of Venice. It takes 25 mins to get from here by boat to the main sights. Emmanuelle who runs the house is a mine of knowledge, and there are bikes to get you to the boat stop (only a few hundred metres away). The prices are very reasonable - not the inflated tourist prices of the central areas. We really appreciated the relaxing boat trips and the quiet of the isand at the end of a hard days sightseeing.
The accommodation is basic but very clean with en-suite, and the breakfasts are simple, but everything is fairtrade.
I intend to stay at Lato Azzuro again.
