We stayed one night at the Due Mori - the location is excellent, right by the Basilica. We followed the signs to find it (very narrow streets). We were able to park immediately outside overnight, and Sunday next day so didn't have to move the car early. However, we could only stay one night because they were closing for three... more

Just spent 4 nights at the beautiful Due Mori. Fantastic location in the heart of the old city. Beautiful decore - antique without being over the top, really tasteful. The bedroom was simple (no TV, hairdryer etc) but clean and pleasant. This hotel was very good value. Vicenza a perfect place to stay - numerous Palladian villas, civic buildings and... more

This may be the only hotel in the historic center of the city, but the town is small, and there are much better options outside but within walking distance. The room was large enough but furnished with old furniture that could have been acquired at garage sales. It may seem "antique" to some, but in my book, just because something's... more

Cannot recommend highly enough. Have stayed here twice now for a total of seven nights. Paid 48 Euros for single with bath. Room was average size, spotless with good but not great mattress and above average hot water and pressure, bidet for washing your feet. Beautifully decorated room and common areas, this is a unique structure that is of interst... more

We booked to stay at this hotel as it is the only one listed as being in the historic centre of Vicenza. As usual, we requested a quiet room and asked for the best room available. We stayed in room 3A which is a really large room with a suite of unusual furniture (Italian Art Nouveau?). It was certainly striking!.... more

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of June 2006. We arrived driving late in the evening to the city of Vicenza and they had some small signs posted near the exit we took into the city and we followed them all the way through tiny tiny turning streets into the center of the city and the hotel. Because... more

The Hotel Due Mori enjoys a very central location in a beautiful building. The hall is very nice, well kept, with wooden ceilings and the room we got was spotless clean, really spacious, with old pieces of furniture which gave the atmosphere a "retro" feeling. There was even a long chaise and a (not working) fire place. No TV or... more

We found the hotel Due Mori first as a "good value" in Rick Steves travel book and confirmed his perception with Italian friends. It's a 2/3 star so there's no mini bar, no in room TV, but you pay for what you get. It's a great little hotel and is being improved annually. We've stayed there for 12 weeks over... more

I've stayed at the Due Mori on September 2003. The room was basic, clean and comfortable. The electric fan in the bathroom was quite noisy and you didn't have the option to turn it off unless you swithched the lights off. The location is very good, walking distance to main places. The hotel deserves *** actually, an extra star comes... more
