LOCATION: “Why in the world would anyone put a hotel here?” was what kept going thru my mind on the taxi ride from the airport. We had passed the town of Brindisi, and were headed into the heart of the industrial and shipping district. For someone who isn’t driving, or for someone who is interested in actually experiencing the town of Brindisi, this is a HORRIBLE location. So much so, that I had to ask the hotel staff about it. It seems that there are many ships and ferries which take cars and passengers to Albania and Greece, and those ports are quite close to the Nettuno. SO: If you’re heading to one of those excursions, and you need a decent place to stay the night before, this could work out very well for you. If not, I’d REALLY recommend finding something else...unless you just happen to love being surrounded by factories and construction sites.
