We have just returned from a two night stay at Abbey House B & B and cannot praise this little gem of a place too highly. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like old friends. The continental breakfast was superb and not to be missed! Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood with excellent locals' restaurants, easy walk to sights. Modern room in an old house--room comfortable, immaculate. The Abbey House is located a few short blocks from the downtown shopping area and is 1/2 block away from the streetcar transportation, convenience and grocery stores. Overall... more

Positives: clean, friendly owners who allowed me to check in early, good value for the money, and the location is pretty good (5-10 minute stroll to bus, old town, or beach). Negatives: Owners speak poor English, breakfast was minimal and not served til 9am which can affect your plans if you are catching an early bus, etc. I get the... more
