99% of the staff we spoke to were exceptionally helpful and more than happy to repeat things in english for us - or find someone else who could. you only have to ask. and anyway - it's ITALY! what do you expect?! We liked the Tanka Village Resort. It was very friendly and on a nice piece of beach. Our daughter loved the Pinocchio show (there are two theatres). There are activities to do around the resort.
