Myself and my wife stayed in Zia Maria Bed and Breakfast during the first week of April 2006.
Angelo's house was built in about 1860, is a 3-floor building and has been recently well-restored.
Angelo and his family are perfect hosts: the rooms were in the second floor (Angelo's family live in the 3°).
Our room was spacious and comfortable, and elegantly furnished in the old-Sardinian style with a private bath. Thre is also a big terrace with a great view to Monserrato and Cagliari in the distance. Breakfast is just what you would expect - breads, pastries, juices, milk and coffee.
The B&B is located on Via Giulio Cesare, a quiet street which brings you directly to Monserrato centre and to the main ways to Cagliari (15 min. by bus)
Close to the B&B there is a big shopping centre and a really good restaurant-pizzeria.
Angelo made every effort to see that we were comfortable, as well as furnishing us with maps. Well recommended. more
