Catania is a rough city in Sicily and the Liberty Hotel is in a bad area of the city. I tried to stay there but was carjacked right outside the Liberty Hotel!!! We have stayed there for 7 nights. I highly recommend this hotel. Very clean with great atmosphere and good location (2 blocks from the main street). All staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is maybe not cheap but definitely worth the price. more
