Great location, tiny rooms without bathrooms, great coffee for breakfast, low price, at the front desk, They "trying" to speak in languages other than Italian, but the service is really nice - So I think is OK.

We drove from Milazzo to Palermo via Monreale due to late check in time. Needless to say, when we pulled into the courtyard and carried our luggage up to the second floor, we were in no mood to be told that we couldn't park on premises and would have to find parking outside. We ended up parking on via Torino... More

I'll start by saying that this is the most basic hotel we'd ever stayed in and it looks nothing like the brochure! However it was very cheap and in a great location 2 minutes walk from the bus and train stations. The outer door was imposing when we arrived at night, with no indication if the buzzer had worked or... More

So to sum up this place quickly it is an absolute hell hole that should be avoided at all costs! Obviously if you're reading this, you speak English, and if u can't speak fluent Italian then you have no hope here. Now the long version: the man checking us in spoke no English, was not friendly at all and was... More

I had to bookings, due to my flightschedule - late arrival and early departure, so this hotel, which is literally just around the corner from the Palermo Centrale, is the best choice ever. Other than nice location (for the train station ;) ), i simply just loved and adored the old, worn down elegance this amazing building radiates to a... More

This hotel was ok for a one night stay. Clean, close to the train station and shopping area. The inside of the hotel is great, good value for money, yet the building is not in its best shape on the outside. This 1700s palazzo has its charm with original frescoes and stylish furniture in the dining room. However, the first... More

Just came back from 4 days short holiday in Palermo. Hotel Orientale was great, I gave it 4 stars and if it wasn't the noise from the street I would be glad to give it full 5 stars. Our room was N7 , it was huge with a huge balcony. Beds were comfortable ( we had one double and two... More

Situated in an old palazzo at one of the main streets of Palermo. Only 5 minutes walking from the station and bus terminal. Clean accommodation with a character all of its own. Very good value for money !

Old mansion in funky area near the train. Lots of marble stairs. Helpful staff. Cool place. Arab market next door. The breakfast was kind of sad, but the dining room very fine. Interesting place. Great value.
