The room was small, and had no decor. There was a leak right outside our room with buckets and exposed ceiling wires. The view was awful. The staff was nasty, and not helpful. The location and breakfast was good.Look for another hotel if you want any satisfaction. more

We were transferred to this hotel after booking into another that had problems with some of their rooms. On arrival the receptionist was very abrupt and didn't even tell us when or where breakfast was served. The shower overflowed and the air conditioning was ineffective. We asked the receptionist to find out the train times for us to which he... more

After staying at Vulcano at Therasia Resort to come to this hotel was very disappointing. We had a room with no window so you can imagine weaking up in the morning to darkness when we had fanstactic views at Vulcano. Location is good however the service of breakfast staff is not friendly. The bar on the roof is fantastic if... more

I stayed here in April with a group holiday. The check in was quick but the room I was allocated had not been cleaned up from the last occupants. I was not impressed especially when I had to argue with the hotel receptionist who did not believe me. Eventually I was given a room on the 4th floor. The room... more

So Ok - not everyone likes looking at walls - but just look at the plus side - you are not facing the noisy street and you can't see the sky to tell if its raining! But seriously - don't be put off by the fact that lots of the rooms look at walls or into courtyards - this does... more

Firstly, the staff at this hotel was not the friendliest. Only 2 seemed friendly, for the week we were there. Also the walls are so thin, I could hear the person next door flushing their toilet and/or having a shower. We were on the 4th floor and you could always hear chairs and tables being moved, footsteps etc. from the... more

First the good points, great maid service and superb buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, sparse rooms. no tea/coffee making facilities, bar closed early on three occasions without warning, panoramic piano bar on 5th floor closed to residents on 3 out of 7 nights due to local parties, internet connection not available. Apart from one female, receptionists surly and unhelpful. Nowhere near 4... more

Coming off of a fantastic experience in Taormina, we were utterly disappointed in the service at this hotel. The location was fine, but the staff and amenities were sub-standard. The first room we were given had 2 windows with no view. They looked over the hotel alleyway and shaft. No sunlight, and lighting in the room was minimal. We asked... more

Following charming accommodation elsewhere on our trip, we had high expectations of this hotel, which, at least going by the cost of our room, should have been a class above our previous hotels. When we arrived we were flattered by the coolness of the reception area decor, if not by the coolness of the reception staff, and the room was... more

With a Grand Circle Travel group, we were booked into this hotel. Our room, in the front overlooking a municipal building and fountain, was on a corner and spacious and well-furnished. There were two beds, a desk and a corner seating arrangement including tea/coffee making equipment. The bath was very large and well equipt, including a window. The location of... more
