this is basic accommodation in Palermo.....that said, it was clean, Vince on the front desk was charming and very helpful, there is a grocery very close by and it is in a good location for exploring Palermo.....a couple of things though.....bring earplugs for sleeping (not a bad idea anyway for anyone doing a lot of travel) and breakfast is just... more

After spending there few days, we are not exactly a big fan of Palermo. Noisy, dirty and not much to see. Our hotel was possibly in the nicest part of the historic centre, few renovated houses at least and not much rubbish on the streets. The hotel is nice and clean. We got an apartment type which was noisy during... more

Like the other reviews say, it is more a hotel than a B&B. There is hrs reception, a minibar. The rooms were very very big and furnished quite expsensive compared to the other B&Bs in Sicily. There is only one member of the staff that speaks English and Tte neighboorhood looks a bit gloomy at night, but all in all... more

The Harmony B&B is really more hotel than B&B in that it has a 24 hour front desk, an immense comfort since we were taking a late-arriving RyanAir flight into Palermo, then the Palermo airport train into the city. We had printed out a large-scale Google map of the neighborhood to help with walking from the train station at night... more

This was the last place my wife and I stayed on our trip around Sicily in May 2007. We drove into Palermo after visiting Agrigento and Selinunte during the day and found absolute chaos in traffic. Whatever people say about traffic in Italy and Naples being loud, forget it. Palermo is the loudest place withe the craziest traffic. Seriously: do... more

We stayed at the Harmony for three nights in November. We had an evening flight and took the train into Palermo (5 euros each), reaching Palermo station at about 9.00pm, by which time it was very dark (also pouring with rain). The walk to the hotel took about half an hour (which included getting lost): the Harmony is NOT easy... more

This charming little B&B is just as described. The rooms are more like large suites, with an anteroom, a sitting room, and a very large bedroom with huge bath. The staff - non-English speaking but extremely helpful and courteous - will go out of their way to help guests with small things. The hotel is located just off the Piazza... more

Stayed here in October 2007. The B&B is located in a very narrow street in an old and authentic part of Palermo. We were lucky and could park our small car right next to the hotel. Gave the owner our car keys so he could move the car in case needed. When checking in the owner (who only speaks Italian,... more

Three friends and I stayed there for two nights in June, 2007. We loved it. The location is great, right downtown, in a historic neighborhood, with restaurants, and all tourist attractions within walking distance. The hotel has recently been renovated, probably in 2005 or 2006. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and air conditioned (tile floors), with large comfortable beds and... more

My husband and I stayed one night at the Harmony Bed and Breakfast in Palermo. We wish we had stayed much longer. The people at the front desk were great. Our room (#21) was beautifully decorated and spacious, it contained a bedroom, sitting room, study and large bathroom. There was airconditioning (a blessing in Sicily), TV and small fridge. It... more
