Excellent welcome and good accomodation, we suggest to enrich the good breakfast buffet by adding some English or German style food. Very nice people and place, we enjoyed it. Sorry that Sicily can be much more interesting but Sicilians seem not to like their country! more

I just returned from 10 days in Sicily and I have to say that Villa dei Papiri was by far the worst experience we had. The air conditioner did not work for the three days we were there. They did knock 20 Euro off the price for each night to make up for it, but that didn't change the fact... more

While the grounds were lovely, this place was impossible to find (even with directions) no signs, nothing - the heat didn't work (and they charged us extra for heat!) - and there didn't ever seem to be anyone about. Maybe it's ok in the summer when they are geared up, but I wouldn't recommend this any other time. They need... more
