As I sit here this morning on the breakfast terrace over the sea eating another slice of home made lemon cake with home made strawberry jam, both fresh this morning, I am reminded again that this is my favorite B&B anywhere we have stayed in the world. We return for the second time in six months, again with Swiss friends... more

No Kidding this may be the best BB in Europe. Read the other positive reviews. All rooms overhang the sea. There are breakfast and roof terraces over the sea. Four of the seven rooms have balconies that overhang the sea. The rooms and bathrooms are pristinely clean. The breakfasts alone are worth 15-20 euros per person. You fall asleep with... more

We chose this B&B because it was rated so highly on tripadvisor. The host was welcoming, the room was clean and we had a great view over the rocks and the sea. The old town (Ortigia), which is the only reason to visit Siracusa, is a good 20 minute walk away. i didn't mind the distance, but the road we... more

When visiting Sicily I'd highly recommend Siracusa - and when you go, treat yourself to a delightful stay at the Giuggiulena B&B run by an outgoing, warm and gracious host, Sabrina, who speaks fluent english. Get directions before you try to find it yourself unless you have a GPS like we did - Tasteful, super clean rooms with balcony's overlooking... more

This B&B is a bit tricky to find, and a good hike from Ortygia, but worth the search. Rooms, which are on floors -1, -2 and -3, all have stunning sea frontage. The inn provides gear so guests can safely clamor over the rocks for swims from the bottom floor. Rooms are clean and well designed. Innkeeper Sabrina was the... more

We couldn't believe our luck when we discovered this b&b. After being incredibly disappointed by our accommodation in Taormina and Palermo, this place was a God send. The bedrooms are huge and bright, and all have a balcony overlooking the sea. The owner (Sabrina) is a fountain of knowledge and so welcoming. There are just so many personal touches that... more

The sea is right outside your window! Airy, spacious breakfast room with pc/internet and outstanding buffet breakfast-includes local fruits, cakes, jams, and as always in Sicily, great coffee. Room was large and spacious, clean and well away from any possible traffic noise. The only thing you can hear is the waves directly outside your window. Watch the parking process, your... more

We loved this charming hotel. Sabrina (the owner) gave us the most pleasant welcome (lemon pie and coffee on the terrace). She is a fantastic person to talk to. She gave us great advice and we just started to chat about her business and life in general. The hotel is right on the sea and even though we didn't feel... more

Spent 4 nights at this lovely B and B and the best part about our stay was the owner, Sabrina. She greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were very clean, nicely furnished with mini refrig and terraces overlooking the Ionian Sea. We watched the fishermen come and go each evening with their catch and fed... more

We stayed at this BnB for 4 nights in Sept 06. It is in an amazing location, the large spacious rooms (with a decent shower) have balconies that are literally hanging over the sea. You can hear the waves crashing on the rocks beneath .... and not alot else. It really was very peaceful indeed. There is access to the... more
