This hotel has a marvelous location overlooking the sea and just steps from Taormina's greek theatre. Unfortunately, the bill you have to foot to stay here does not correspond with the service, rooms or overall experience. Timeo has one great asset - its location. But that is just not enough. Whilst some aspects were first class, the hotel lets itself down on its very poor restaurant. We stayed here recently on our honeymoon and enjoyed the fantastic views of Taromina and Mount Etna. Plan plenty of time to enjoy your breakfast from the beautiful terrace. The furniture in the rooms are a bit outdated but it's part of the experience of visiting charming Taormina. Take advantage of using the private beach at sister Hotel Saint Andrea. more
