Not the fanciest place I've ever stayed but Villa Fiorita has a lot of character and it's in a great location. Try the restaurant next door Trattoria da Nino - FANTASTIC!! more

Villa Fiorita is really a very good choice in Taormina. It is ideally located about 400 meters from the bus station and very near from the historical city center. But at the same time you feel like you are in an oasis of peace and quiet. We were in Taormina in August just for Ferragosto and of course it was... more

Deciding to stay in Taormina you need to make a choice between 2 different available locations: - hilltop, close to historical city center as well as cafes, restaurants and nightlife - this is where Villa Fiorita is located - down the hill - by the sea which at the same time means close to very busy road, higway entrance and... more

Hello, We booked directly from the hotel : 125 euros/night. Ask for the parking (not in the villa but next to it) and book a place in advance (12 euros/night), because you won't be able to park. Some people park down in Mazzaro near the funicularium and take the funicularium to get to Taormina! The hotel seems to be 3... more

We spent 2 days here and enjoyed the hotel immensely. The views from the room were lovely, the smell of orange blossoms permeated the hotel, and the management was friendly, talkative, and helpful. The hotel winds up the hill, and many patios offer various views. It is located just around the corner from the main street, and convenient to restaurants... more

Spent eleven days at the Villa Fiorita in September 2007 and had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay. We were allocated room 222 on the first floor of the main hotel building, a fair sized double room with a large terrace that looked out to a spectacular view of the Ionian sea and the coastline. The room was clean, freshly... more

Cons-and I'm not sure they were cons, or just peculiarities (1) Very... more

Villa Fiorita is not bad physically. With different management, it could be a very nice place. But the service is brusque and I got no sense of hospitality. I did get a sense that the management wanted to get as much money out of us as they possibly could. The first night, we had to stay in the notorious pool... more
