Went to Taormina for a wedding this August. Beautiful hotel, nicely decorated with well appointed bathrooms. Air con inc. stayed in room 12 and 26- especially rec. room 26 for lay out as it had a lovely little veranda and both rooms faced the sea. The Hotel itself is fine with very helpful and friendly staff. Mountainside rooms have a window that open into a central vent shaft. The problem is the railway line that runs 50 feet/15 metres from the Hotel and the noise from passenger and freight trains that pass by from 0400 hours every 20/30 minutes until 2330 hours at night. more
