A very clean hotel..the staff were very kind and friendly, especially Roberto..always ready to advise on anything we needed. The hotel is just 5min away from Corso Umberto. The breakfast was simple but good. Its a quiet location in a busy town. Perfect for people who want a cheap and but well located accomodation. more

Don’t listen to the negative reviews about the Soleado. Yes, the walls are a bit thin – but a good traveller always has his Oropax (earplugs) in his pack. Yes, part of the breakfast is in packets, but it is ample and very typical of Italy. And yes, it is about a 5 –10 minute walk from the main drag... more

We went to Taormona for a friend's wedding and i chose this hotel as it wasn't expensive and had a pool. I reserved a car space in advance as there is no where to park in Taormina. We stayed there whit my friend for 4 days, in September '08. Our room was very noisy because it was beside the swimming pool (too small in size). The parking was locked after 23:00. The breakfast was terrible. The service was terrible. I definately don't recomend it. Taormina is a beautiful place, but only to visit it, not to stay... more

A great hotel, a short walk from the city centre (7 min). Big, clean rooms, with balcony and AC. Simple, but good breakfast. Parking available at hotel (€8 p er night) - very nice because you're not allowed to park in Taormina town. The manager (Ricardo?) is very helpful! All in all a very good deal - highly recomended. more
