My husband and I stayed here in September for our honeymoon/anniversary. We had a wonderful time and the Villa was a big part of that . The room was very spacious, clean, and had big windows that looked out on all of Tuscany. Every morning we opened the windows and felt like we were in a movie! There was a... more

First of all, if you're driving to Villa Marsili, ignore the confusing directions given on the hotel's Web site. And there's no obvious signage to speak of. So, here's how to find it. Follow the road signs toward Cortona "centro." When you get to the top of the hill, you'll discover that access to the town's main tourist street, which... more

Just got back from 3 days at Villa Marsilli and really enjoyed our stay there. Lovely room, excellent breakfast, really friendly hotel staff (particularly the lady on Reception!), and ideal location for Cortona. Cortona is a lovely hill town and I would recommend staying at the Villa Marsilli if you are planning to go there. more

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of an organized bike tour through Tuscany. The location of this hotel is outstanding and the hotel looms over the valley offering tremendous views. I loved staring out my window, thinking this was a great strategic setting for a town. Our room was very nice, but a bit small. The bathroom shower was... more

Myself, wife and 21 month old daughter spent 3 nights in Villa Marsili in August and were delighted with the hotel. It is very unusual to find a hotel with such a high level of customer service across the board. I don't know how the owners managed to recruit such an exceptional team of people in terms of attention to... more

We stayed at Villa Marsili for the first week of a 2 week honeymoon. Cortona is a very attractive little town perched on top of a hill, and Villa Marsili is a very short walk from the centre of the town. A lovely hotel (the view from our room was superb), run by some excellent staff (with particular thanks to... more

My wife and I visited Cortona for three wonderful days in April of this year and feel Villa Marsili is one of the best hotels anywhere. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are great, and breakfast was delicious. I don't know how you could have made our stay better. The location was easy to find and nearly perfectly located, just... more

We just finished a tour through Italy which included 5 "top rated" hotels. By far, the experience that was created for us by the staff at Villa Marsili was the best and far beyond our expectation. The facility was impeccably maintained and the location was perfect for relaxation and being able to walk to great restaurants and shops. We would... more

I just recently returned from my trip to Italy with my husband and daughter. We stayed four nights on the Italian Riveria which was spectacular. Our hotel on the Riveria was wonderful and the best accommodations I've had to date until...we traveled to Cortona. Due to a last minute change in our plans, we contacted the Villa Marsili just one... more
