This was our second trip to Hotel Lungarno. It remains one of our favorites in the world. The service was excellent and the staff was very nice and polite. The food was extremely good. Nice Hotel, but at $800 per night, i would expect a lot more. Room very small but had a balcony overlooking the river and Florence. Watch out for street side rooms. Lovely hotel on the Arno. We had the view looking across at the Duomo and Clock tower...it was spectacular. The hotel room was small, but very charming. The housekeeping needs improvement as we had to call a number of time for replacement towels, soap etc. The staff was generally attentive and the location is fantastic. more

We ended up having a very nice stay at this property, but we had to fight for it! Our first room was horrible.
