Although just a bit more than walking distance from the Centre of the City the bus stops just outside the front door and doesn't cost very much. We enjoyed the Restaurant so much that we didn't bother eating elsewhere except for when we were out & about for lunch. more

The hotel was just off the motorway and easy to find with free parking. The hotel staff were very friendly and told us how to get to the centre of Florence on the bus, which was very easy. The room was above average but we were disappointed with the restaurant both for the evening meal and the breakfast. more

Although the hotel was on the outskirts of Florence it is readily accessible from the motorway and has excellent bus services to get you into the centre in 10 minutes or so at off peak, 20 minutes plus when in rush hour. The tickets are available at reception so no need to go searching for the 'Tabac' as in Spain.... more
