We loved our stay in Florence at this hotel! The location was great, between the Duomo and the Centre Square. The activity on the street, the life, the restaurants, the shops, all fantastic. We just got back from Florence and we stayed at the Calzaiuoli Hotel. The Hotel is right in the center of things. It is extremely close to the Duome, Accademia (David), and Uffizy. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel is small but very charming. I am very interested in the cleanliness of Hotels when we travel and this hotel... more

We absolutely loved the location of this hotel -- we didn't have a car, so this was perfect for us. You were steps away from everything. We stayed for 4 nights. The locations was wonderful, walking distance to everywhere. Front desk seemed pretty helpful. The breakfast was great, the coffee was a little strange. Our room was on Calzaiuoli Street so we had great entertainment at night by opening the window and watching knock off purses being sold on a bedsheet... police come....bedsheets are pulled up...police... more

The location was spectacular. The room was spacious and quiet. The bathroom was small - but I have had smaller in europe. The bed was comfortable. The people at the desk were extremely helpful. I can't wait to go back! more

I'm surprised this hotel gets some bad reviews. I thought it was wonderful. Beautiful, clean rooms, great service...and probably the best location you can ask for in Florence. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone...and will try to book it when we're next in Florence. more
