Room was a bit small, but was clean. Some rooms had views of the duomo, others the river, and others (like ours) views of the alley or no views. Lobby was very nice. The location could not have been better! Our room overlooked The Arno river. So close to everything. The staff was friendly, helpful and kind. Nicola, who worked in the restaurant was the absolute best! What a memory! We couldn't have made a better choice!!! More

Hotel was well situated, and the room was spacious. After a long twenty hours of traveling, we were welcomed to our first destination .. the Plaza Lucchesi in Florence. The hotel is small, comfortable and accommodating. After a visit 15 years ago--and knowing what a fabulous location it has--I returned with my daughter in tow to give it another try. Lots of the hotel was under renovation, which made for some noise and disruption, but accommodations were still very lovely and welcoming.
