We had a wonderful three-day stay at Dei Mori B&B in Florence. Our host Danny took the time to orient us to the city at check-in. He recommended a delightful walk across the Arno and up the hill, perfect for the sunny day of our arrival. Breakfast was served in the comfy lobby/living room and included fresh homemade bread, juice,... more

We had a great stay at the Dei Mori. We were in the middle of everything! And for the price it cant be beat. It was a large room, by European standards, and it was beautiful. I am 6'2" tall, the shower was tough for me, but, it was more than made up for by the perfect room, great location,... more

My husband and I stayed at DeiMori last week. We had a great time and loved it. We were welcomed by Danny. He gave us great advice on our plans, including suggested walks and restaurants. All were wonderful. Peter took over for the last night and was equally helpful with train reservations, etc. It was a warm, comfortable place to... more

Dei Mori B&B is centrally located in Florence, walking distance to all of the sites. Peter and Danny go out of their way to accommodate their guests with excellent restaurant tips, museum bookings, suggested itineraries and local knowledge. We also stayed in their B&B in the Italian countryside at Vertelli. This is a beautiful apartment, exceedingly well equipped in close... more

For some reason, we were informed by a GLTB travel magazine that this Florentine B&B was gay, and/or, gay friendly. But, it certainly didn't seem that way when we visited, as all the clients staying there were straight, as were the proprietors... There wasn’t a gay vibe at all, no trace. Besides the nice location, and generally helpful proprietors, we... more

Dei Mori was a wonderful place to stay. Perfect, central location. Tasteful, modern decorations. Great breakfast. Helpful and knowledgable host. If I had to come up with an issue, I must say it is the most expensive of the 7 places we stayed during our tour of Italy. So while it is a good value, it's not a great value.... more

Dei Mori is situated in the heart of Florence, on a quiet pedestrian street. The furnishings and layout were charming and we very much appreciated the useful tips on restaurants, sightseeing and avoiding tourist traps that Suzanne provided. Dei Mori was unable to accommodate us for both nights of our stay but arranged to transfer us for the second night... more

We were greeted by Suzanne. After getting getting us situated in our beautiful room and showing us the facilities, she sat us down and helped us plan our three days in Florence. Not only did she recommend sites to see and restaurants to visit, she suggested strategies so we could avoid competing with other tourists. Clean, WONDERFUL location, quiet, good... more

My mother and I stayed at Dei Mori for several nights recently and found this accomodation to be superb. The location in the center of Florence is excellent, the rooms comfortable, and the decor charming. The real stand out at Dei Mori for us was the staff, namely Suzanne and Peter. At the beginning of our stay Suzanne sat us... more

I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you are in Florence. You will not find more kind or helpful hosts. From the initial contact to the time we left, we found it to be a very pleasant experience. The location is terrific as it is right between the Duomo and Uffizi and close to the train station. more
