We hadn't pre booked a hotel before our arrival in Florence and after this experience we will never do that again. The room was over priced and a complete shaft. The room itself stank so much we had to get a scented candle!!

They sent us to a separate building, down the block and into an unlit courtyard that was seedy. The bed was a pull out couch that was dirty and uncomfortable. The bath had no shower door and water went EVERYWHERE. YUCK!
