Whilst our room was probably in need of a fresh coat of paint and new carpet, there was enough space, bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. Breakfast was okay and internet worked fine. The location to the train station is close. Thank goodness it had a lift, accessible only after going up a small set of stairs. We... more

We booked this hotel for a Sunday special and only paid 49 euros for the night, so it was really cheap given that breakfast was included (and it was pretty good). The room we were given was huge which was a nice change from some of the smaller rooms we had been staying in, and was self-contained which we had... more

Hotel Alamanni is a good value, very friendly and well situated hotel. There were 6 friends in our group and all were very impressed with the Hotel and its staff. No complaints. The entrance can be a bit off putting, but don't let it stop you. more

we are two sisters (one 60, the other over 70!).This is a clean hotel close to the station. We found it easily enough...just remember to look upwards, above street level, for the hotel sign! Hotel staff were helpful and let us leave our luggage before check-in, as we had arrived on the sleeper train at 8am. Staff gave us a... more

My bf was super good about getting info from the hotel about how to get there from the train station. We didnt stay at the "main" part of the hotel where you register on the 2nd floor, so we walked up the block and their rooms in another building were nice! At first we walked past it bc it is... more

Although the Alamanni Hotel entry is a bit dodgy off the street, once you are at the reception on the 2nd floor, the overall hotel is very good. There is a small elevator to take the bags upstairs (Tip - be sure to close the inner doors!). We arrived early and it was quite OK to store bags until afternoon... more

This was a gem of a hotel for the independent traveler, located five minutes away from all bus or train transportation connections in Florence. The room was much bigger than in a typical European hotel, with a full kitchenette included (which came in handy). The beds were comfortable, the hotel was relatively quiet, the breakfast was very good, and everyone... more

4 of us stayed for 3 nights in 2 twin rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful and the language was never a problem. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed - hairdrier, toiletries, tissues, lots of towels. In exceptionally cold weather, the hotel was very warm and we could alwys get a hot drink from reception to warm us... more

We stayed there for 3 days. The city was amazing and our hotel room was very nice and clean. You can not see the hotel from the main road. The entrance is a garage door with bars and the reception is on the 2 floor. On this floor there are about 15 rooms. It is so small hotel but very... more
